Cultural Awareness Course-3 CE Hours
Welcome to our Cultural Awareness Course. In this course we're going to spend Session 1 talking about our views on cultural awareness, how that differs from cultural diversity and why that matters, and a host of other topics you need to know.
In Session 2 we'll spend just a few minutes reviewing a very simple "cultural discovery" model that you may utilize in your practice if you don't already have one you're comfortable with.
And in Session 3 we're going to interview 3 people, who all happen to be licensed counselors and get their views on quite a few topics. We think you'll walk away from our time together feeling more informed and not at all shamed for being who you are. At least that's one of our goals!
